The Blues is at the root of all American music.

Music Masters Collective is proud to announce our inaugural celebration of this singular American art form. Come learn, play, and party as we shake, rattle, and roll for three days and nights on August 11-14, 2026 in the pristine wilderness of the Catskill Mountains at Full Moon Resort, just a half hour from legendary Woodstock… and only 2.5 hrs from NYC.

 LEARN! PLAY! CELEBRATE

At Catskill Crossroads Blues Camp, we’ll share our love for this music we treasure so deeply ~ with performances, interactive workshops, masterclasses… accompanied by plentiful on-stage jamming with the attendees (you!), acoustic and electric jam rooms for all to join in on with backline equipment provided, open mics and song circles around the campfires.  So, if you’re a musician, bring your instrument and learn from and jam with these grand masters.  If you’re simply a lover of the Blues, bring your good spirit!  We plan to have a truckload of some Very Big Fun!

Full Moon Resort is a one hundred acre wonderland of fields, forests, mountains and spring-fed streams – featuring country-inn style lodging, luxury cottages, glamping, gourmet dining, a variety of beautiful barns, the artistically rustic Roadhouse and spectacular Moondance Pavilion, home to scores of magical Music Masters Collective performances.

We are honored to have living legends Charlie Musselwhite and Bobby Rush top our bill, both inductees in the Blues Hall of Fame. Charlie has been a defining voice on harmonica for 60 years from friendships with John Lee Hooker, to recording with Bonnie Raitt, to making 20 of his own albums. This Grammy-award winning Blues icon, has, in many ways, simply come to define the entire genre.

In his seven decades of performing, Bobby Rush has gone from playing with Howlin’ Wolf in the 50’s to winning a Grammy in 2017 at age 82. Along with his pal, Buddy Guy he is the definition of Chicago blues.

Yet another Grammy Award winner, Kansas City native and gospel/blues vocalist, Ruthie Foster will join in as well… while the astonishing Memphis band “Southern Avenue” will have us shaking our booties to their funky/blues-inspired grooves. Pianist Jon Cleary will share his mastery of New Orleans traditions, that place where blues meets jazz, Latin, Creole, and so many other sounds.

And on guitar? Eric Gales, an incendiary player, one of the greatest blues voices of the younger generation; Duke Robillard, founder of Roomful of Blues, who’s played with Jimmie Vaughn, Dylan, and Herb Ellis; acoustic Delta stylist Jontavius Willis will take us into the worlds of Robert Johnson and Son House; Joel Harrison, co-producer of the camp, will show us how jazz can shape blues music… and co-producer Luther Dickinson, known for work as guitarist with the Black Crowes and for his band,The North Mississippi Allstars, will be the camp’s Music Director.

Our “house band” will consist of Bruce Katz on keyboards, Andy Hess on bass, and Marco Giovino on drums. Bruce has played with Delbert McLinton and Gregg Allman while Andy was in Government Mule for years and Marco is noted for his work with Robert Plant.

Wow… what a stellar line up!

We’ll have jam rooms with quality back lines available for all attendees to utilize and explore, each one stocked with a great rhythm section, attentive to the full range of beginner to advanced players.  The party simply won’t stop. There will be master classes, story-telling, unique pairings of new and old friends in unforgettable performances every night.

Come hang with the legends, be inspired by and play with the up-and-coming stars… and meet friends you have not yet met as our community of blues lovers coalesces at this magical gathering in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York.

Bring your axe or just come to listen, hang and enjoy!  You’ll be taking a journey onto American highways you won’t forget.

     SEE YOU AT CAMP!
